Sheila is a fully qualified psychotherapist having completed the BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling /Psychotherapy and Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy. She is accredited with the IACP. Her professional background before becoming a therapist has been as an SNA for 16 years, working with children with diverse needs. She is an integrative and humanistic therapist, but also draws on other theoretical approaches including CBT and Psychodynamic modalities to support her clients.


Sheila has a professional certificate with PCI College in Working with Trauma, and also CBT skills and additionally holds a Professional Certificate with RCSI in the area of children and Loss. She has also completed the Fetac train the trainer course and applied suicide training.
