Placement Partnerships with PCI College

How To Work With Us

Enquire

At PCI College, placements are built on partnership. We work with organisations across Ireland to create meaningful learning
environments where counselling and psychotherapy students can develop their skills while contributing real value to the communities
they serve. By offering a placement, your organisation plays a direct role in supporting the next generation of therapists, while expanding access to counselling in a way that is ethical, supervised, and professionally supported.

What Placement Provision Means

Providing a placement means partnering with PCI College to host a student therapist within your organisation. Students on placement are completing professional training and are supported through academic learning, clinical supervision, and clear placement guidelines. Your role is to offer a safe, appropriate setting where learning can take place, alongside guidance and professional oversight within your service. It is a collaborative process, designed to benefit clients, students, and host organisations alike.

Who Can Offer a Placement

Placements are suitable for a wide range of organisations, including:

  1. ● Private counselling or psychotherapy practices
  2. ● Charities and voluntary organisations
  3. ● HSE and non-profit services
  4. ● Family Resource Centres and community-based services

If your organisation provides or supports mental health or wellbeing services, you may be well placed to become a placement partner.

How to Get Involved

Getting involved is straightforward. Simply click the Enquire button at the top of this page. You will be guided to a short form where you can share your contact details and tell us a little about your organisation. A member of the PCI College team will then be in touch to discuss suitability, answer any questions, and outline the next steps.
