As the Head of Marketing & Student Recruitment, Carol assumes a pivotal role in orchestrating a comprehensive array of responsibilities. This encompasses overseeing marketing initiatives, both traditional and digital, as well as driving business development efforts. Furthermore, Carol adeptly manages all aspects of public relations endeavors. A crucial facet of her role involves guiding student enquiries, facilitating course applications, and cultivating continuous professional development, alongside personal development growth planning.
Carol’s responsibilities extend to the meticulous organisation of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Conference, alongside the supervision of bespoke training opportunities. Collaborating closely with College Directories, Carol diligently crafts and implements optimal business strategies, while also directing effective marketing and sales tactics. She is instrumental in refining operational processes and procedures to ensure an exemplary student experience. It’s worth noting that Carol’s proficiency extends to her role as a Data Protection Officer, spearheading GDPR-related concerns.
Educationally, Carol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Postgraduate degree in Marketing Strategy, and an MSc degree in Digital Marketing Strategy from Trinity College. Her career has been dedicated to leveraging her personal and professional acumen to elevate companies in their respective fields, steering them toward success. This commitment echoes her aspiration to consistently deliver unparalleled customer service to PCI students, all the while fostering mental health awareness and disseminating counseling & psychotherapy updates to both the community and its student body.
Beyond her professional sphere, Carol is deeply dedicated to spending cherished moments with her family, friends, and her loyal canine companion, Thor. During her leisure hours, she indulges in reading, culinary pursuits, and immersing herself in the realm of movies and TV series. Carol’s preferred genres encompass Comedy, Psychological Thriller, Mystery, Crime, and Fantasy.

Ethan joined PCI College in 2017 as the Examinations Officer, he has developed and grown his career first being promoted to the role of Programmes Office Administration Manager in 2019 before taking on his current role as Head of Administrative Services from January 2022. One of the primary responsibilities of this role is the management of both Programmes Office and Student Services departments. Ethan is responsible for overseeing the admissions, registry, enrolment, boards, timetabling and general programmes management processes including payment of tuition fees. He also helps to provide clear administrative processes that meet all quality assurance directives and improve the supports and customer service level to the student body.
Ethan holds a BA International degree in Geography Sociology and Politics from NUI Galway and a MA in Human Geography from University College Cork. Having worked as a tutor in UCC and studied degrees at both undergraduate and master’s level he is well aware of the common issues students can experience and uses this knowledge to help PCI College in supporting students in these areas. In his spare time Ethan enjoys watching Rugby and football and is a diehard Connacht and Chelsea supporter.

Gael Kilduff is an IACP-accredited therapist and supervisor with a career spanning over 25 years. Initially specialising in Relationship and Couples Counselling, Gael went on to further study in the area of counselling & psychotherapy and has worked for many years in Athlone Counselling Practice, which she co-founded in 2009. Along with her practice work, she also worked on behalf of the Longford Westmeath Educational Training Board, offering psychological support to teenagers and young adults. In more recent years, she expanded her practice to include supervision with a special interest in fostering reflective practice among therapists and guidance counsellors. Gael has, for the last fifteen years, focused additional efforts on counselling education and now holds the position of Head of Counselling & Psychotherapy programmes with PCI College, where her primary responsibilities encompass leading the lecturing team and ensuring all programmes meet the quality standards required by the college and any respective validation/accrediting bodies.

Jade is a chartered Counselling Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Jade is the Academic Director in PCI College, overseeing and delivering the training of Counselling & Psychotherapy programmes from Certificate up to Master’s level. Jade is a Counsellor/Therapist within the HSE Counselling in Primary Care team and consults as a member of a Clinical Team within a residential care setting.
Jade is currently serving a third term as an executive board member of the IACP where she is the Chair of the Finance and Risk Management Committee and holds the role of Treasurer. Jade has a strong passion and interest in counselling and psychotherapy pedagogy which is evident through her work in PCI College.

As Finance Manager, Niamh is responsible for the financial wellbeing of the College, supporting all Heads of Department and the Board of Management bringing the College successfully through each academic year. Niamh is a qualified Accountant Technician, and part qualified Accountant CPA from CIT and Griffith College Cork & Dublin. Niamh has worked in Finance for over 20 years, starting her career in the IFC (International Finance Corporation) in Washington DC, following on to working in various SME’s and Multi-National experience as a Financial Analyst. Niamh provides valuable knowledge and experience in all areas of finance and is very focused on assisting Management in effective decision making and strategic growth.

Pat is co-Director of PCI Counselling Ltd. After 10 years in primary teaching, he joined the Department of Education and Skills as Inspector of Schools, retiring some years ago as Assistant Chief Inspector. Subsequently, he graduated from PCI College with the degree of B.Sc. (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. Pat’s lifelong interest in teaching and learning continues through voluntary involvement in educational administration.

As College Director, Rhiannon manages all aspects of the smooth running of the College as well as coordinating operational planning and future developments. Rhiannon holds a degree in Communication Systems and Marketing from the University of Lincoln and a certificate in Equality in Training and Education from NUI Maynooth. Coupled with over 20 years’ experience in higher education working with both UK and USA universities specifically in the fields of; recruitment, admissions, academic boards and student services, Rhiannon provides valuable knowledge and experience in higher education matters.
Rhiannon has a keen interest in strategic change and business management development and is highly focussed on student support and customer service.

William is a board member of the College and of our parent company, CCS Training, as well as being on the board of the Iron Mill College, our sister college in the UK. A graduate of the University of Dublin, Trinity College and the University of Cambridge, William is a chartered accountant, and holds a number of directorships, including Chair of Inspire Wellbeing, one of the largest mental health charities on the island of Ireland.
