I have worked as a CBT in private practice in Cork for 11 years. I run a clinic with 8 therapists, "Smaointe CBT Mental Healthcare", in Carrigaline, where I see clients presenting with a wide variety of complaints. These include such things as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD etc. Working with adults and adolescents, I have vast experience with employing CBT models to help clients achieve their goals. I also work as a Clinical Supervisor to all mental health professionals, an academic supervisor and a lecturer. Last year I completed my training in EMDR, acquiring a deeper understanding and skill set for working with more complex trauma. My passion truly is for continued learning in the field of behavioural psychology and neuroscience. I aim to continue learning and, where I can, impart that to others.
