BSc Counselling & Psychotherapy Open Evening – Thursday 15th May 2025 from 7 pm to 8 pm

PCI College Open Evenings are delivered by members of the PCI College lecturing and applications team and are a fantastic opportunity for you to learn more about a course or ask any questions. Expect to learn the most important information from course content to timetables, entry requirements, qualifications upon graduating, fees, and how PCI College approaches teaching and learning.

Our Open Evenings are free of charge but registration is required to attend. Please register your interest and fill out the booking form above to secure your place at the event. Once registered you will receive a confirmation message. We will send you the Zoom link and login details the day before the open evening.

Who should attend

BSc Honours (4 year part-time degree) – Starts September 2025

The BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy Open Evening is for you if you are considering a career in the fields of mental health, counselling, or psychotherapy. Our BSc (Hons) course provides students with a specialist field of study in Counselling & Psychotherapy and it is recognised by the IACP and has been developed and is made in partnership with Middlesex University making the course one of the leading pathways for students to becoming qualified and accredited as Counsellor-Psychotherapists.

At the open evening, one of our lecturers and admissions team will provide a rundown of the essential information you need to help guide you on the next best step for you and your career goals.

More Information

The BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for people who are interested in becoming professional counsellors & psychotherapists and want to gain an honours degree and a professional qualification in counselling and psychotherapy. 

We also offer postgraduate programmes:

The MSc Child & Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapeutic Skills which is designed for those who wish to gain specialist training in counselling and psychotherapy for children, teenagers and young people under the age of 25. 

The MSc Addiction Counselling & Psychotherapy is intended for professionals currently or considering working within addiction services in professions including counsellors/psychotherapists, doctors, nurses, youth workers, social carers, social workers, psychologists etc. who wish to solidify and enhance their qualifications and to gain contemporary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work therapeutically with those affected by addiction. 

The MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is intended for practitioners who wish to gain specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The programme sets out to develop practitioners who can work individually in a professional practice setting or as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various settings using CBT approaches. It is designed to provide you, as the learner, with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and personal confidence to apply strategic protocols of CBT in the area of mental health and general health wellbeing.

The Advanced Diploma Clinical Supervision is designed to train existing professionals in the health and social care fields (e.g. counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, youth workers, psychologists, nurses etc.) to supervise the work of other professionals.
