Dip. BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy 

 

Ericka is a fully accredited Psychotherapist with an Honours Degree from PCI College. She has been working as a therapist since 2017 and facilitates collaborative therapy through integrative styles. At the heart of her work is safety and empathy based on her core development in humanistic counselling, but she has further training and experience in psychodynamic therapy. Ericka values the relationship between client and therapist as the most important aspect of her work and works with her clients to establish a secure sense of trust and belonging. This is the foundation to a safe working space where clients can explore the ins and outs of their pain. 

 

Ericka Lecturers across the Certificate & BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy  Her love of psychotherapy and education merges these two worlds, and she brings that into her teaching style. She relies on vulnerability and psychological safety as keys to success in the creation of a psychotherapist. Ericka also holds the position of Student Development & Progression Officer for our Year 1 Students in Dublin. The role as Student Development and Progression Officer (SDPO) is at the heart of this Care Team and a direct point of contact for both students and lecturers concerning actively supporting the development of the therapist in training throughout their programme.
