In a world that demands constant attention and activity, the ability to be truly present is a vital skill for mental and emotional well-being.
This PCI College workshop offers an immersive introduction to mindfulness, the practice of paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity, and without judgment. By participating, you will move beyond the theory of mindfulness to experience its calming effects firsthand. This course empowers you to cultivate a more grounded, resilient way of being, providing you with a sanctuary of stillness you can carry into your daily life.

Mindfulness is a life-long practice that offers cumulative benefits for your physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Reduced Stress & Anxiety: Learn to break the cycle of automatic reactivity and lower the body’s physiological stress response.
- Enhanced Mental Clarity: Improve your focus and concentration by training your mind to return to the present moment.
- Greater Emotional Regulation: Develop the space between an emotion and your reaction, allowing you to choose how you respond to life’s challenges.
- Increased Self-Compassion: Cultivate a kinder, more accepting inner dialogue that reduces self-criticism and builds resilience.
What will you learn?
The curriculum balances experiential practice with the core principles of mindfulness, ensuring you have the tools to establish a sustainable home practice.
- Foundations of Mindfulness: Understanding the core philosophy of mindfulness and its impact on the brain and nervous system.
- Formal Meditation Practice: Guided experience with core techniques, such as the body scan, focused breathing, and sitting meditation.
- Informal Mindfulness: Practical ways to integrate mindfulness into routine daily activities, such as eating, walking, and listening.
