Ciara Moran

BSc (Hons Counselling & Psychotherapy, PG Cert. Mediation. MIACP 


Ciara completed her Certificate and BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy with PCI College and is fully accredited by the IACP. She completed PG cert in Mediation and Conflict resolution and has training in a range of areas including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Complex Trauma and SFBT. Ciara set up her private practice in 2016 and now runs a well-established practice in Dublin 7.  

For a number of years’ Ciara worked in a secondary school setting, supporting students’ wellbeing and offering therapeutic services.  

Ciara has a lot of experience working with adolescents and adults in the areas of self-harm and suicide intervention.  


Currently her works is mainly focused on working with clients struggling with BPD, Emotional Dysregulation and Complex Trauma. Drawing upon a broad range of therapeutic training in her work, enabling her to develop an integrative style of working to help a wide range of clients. Ciara facilitates weekly DBT skills groups and works individually with clients, as part of a DBT team of Therapist.  


Ciara has a passion for wellbeing and personal growth. She has successfully blended her background in performance and her expertise in well-being with creative endeavors.  

From cofounding 'Skoolbox,' an interactive learning platform, to choreographing for national campaigns and TV shows and addressing the importance of fitness and mental health on national television. Demonstrating the transformative power of the arts in promoting well-being. 


Ciara also facilitates CPD trainings for professionals and Organisations in the helping profession.  

Having a keen interest in Education and lifelong learning Ciara has joined PCI, lecturing on both the Certificate and Degree programme.
