Associate Lecturer

Aisling has an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical) from the Tivoli Institute and Carlow IT. Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy, Diploma in Psychotherapy, Post Graduate Diploma in Supervision and Reflective Practice from Annie Sampson, Post Graduate Certificate in Jungian Psychology and Art therapy from Limerick IT, Mindfulness facilitation training. She is an accredited supervisor with IACP & IAHIP. 

Her other training includes; Internal Family Systems, Group therapy, Train the trainer, Trauma work with Babette Rothschild, Motivational Interviewing, Couples Therapy, Death Doula, CAM Suicide intervention training, STORM suicide training and Mindfulness for kids.

 

Additionally, Aisling has a diploma in Nutrition, Sports Injury Therapy, Massage, Reflexology, Sports and Recreation and Is a qualified yoga teacher running an ITEC recognised yoga teacher training college in Galway called Optimum Health. She works with trainee therapists in different colleges, lectures, supervises and group supervises. She has completed many other additional shorter qualifications and trainings.

 

Aisling has her own private psychotherapy and supervision practice in Galway City and Kinvara. She also runs educational programmes in the HSE’s National Counselling Service and runs her Yoga Teacher Training courses. 

 

Aisling has worked with many organisations including Student counselling and Wellness in University of Galway, Aids Help West, Ability West and many other private businesses and organisations.
