majority of our students successfully apply for accreditation with the IACP, the
leading accrediting body. Our courses meet their criteria and we are now
undergoing the re-recognition process.
- In order to facilitate students, PCI College introduced a payment plan. The course can be paid
in 3 fixed payments due in September, November & February. There is
no extra charge for this option.
- For those
considering a career in counselling, a
Foundation Course is an essential stepping stone to prepare for a
professional qualification. It will help you develop an understanding
and appreciation of counselling as a distinct interpersonal form and
will help you decide whether it is the right career choice for you.
- We keep classes small
in year 1 and year 2 (18 students), we aim to provide students with
experiences and opportunities which will enable them to develop their
potential in a supportive, stimulating and challenging environment,
where ideas are discussed freely and where there is a sense of sharing
in a continuing process of self-discovery.
- Our Student Care & Progression Team
take a holistic view of the student. They provide support through
one-to-one and group sessions for students facing academic and
non-academic problems.
- We have a Student Placement
Officer to assist students in finding work placements to complete
their necessary client work.
- We offer a Low Cost Counselling service from the
college which is designed to assist students complete their necessary
client work and because we believe that lack of funds should not be a
barrier for people who need counselling.
- The principle of continuing professional development is strong
in the occupation of counselling and counsellors continuously up-grade
and develop their skills through attending our Continuing Professional Development programmes.
