CBT Skills for Everyday Life:

Date: Starts Wednesday 29th Feb - 6 Weeks
Time:7:00-9:00pm
Venue: Dublin City Centre

CBT is a reliable approach that any of us can learn, in order to cope better with difficult emotions e.g. stress, anxiety, fear, anger and low mood.
Our thoughts, our emotions, our behaviours and our physical reactions all interact together.

CBT helps us to understand and change our habitual thoughts and behaviours which can be very beneficial when it comes to dealing with the ongoing stresses and challenges of life.

Communication Skills:


Date:Saturday 31st March

Venue: The Gresham Metropole, Cork

We all use language to communicate, to express ourselves, to get our ideas across, and to connect with the person to whom we are speaking. When a relationship is working, the act of communicating seems to flow relatively effortlessly. When a relationship is deteriorating, the act of communicating can be as frustrating as climbing a hill of sand.
Learn how to hone communication skills such as listening, clarity and assertion.

Life Writing - Use Writing to Discover Who You Are:

Date: Saturday 24th March
Time: 10am-5pm
Venue: Dublin City Centre
 

This course introduces participants to the practice and theory of life writing. Life writing refers to the practice of writing for oneself, not specifically with the view for publication (though this is a possibility) but as a way of healing, growing, discovering, exploring, awakening creativity and solving problems. It encompasses the keeping of journals, diaries, memoirs, biography, stories, letter writing, travel writing and fiction based on personal experience.

Self Care with Somatic Movement:

Date: Saturday 21st April 
Time:10am-5pm
Venue: Dublin West
Level 1: Somatic Movement - theory, practice, recognising and releasing neuromuscular tension  from the muscles in the  stomach and back and waist. Focused Breathing. Self Sensing.

Learn to use the greatest most complex technology available - Your Brain. Train your brain to change your body  -  Move less, experience more with a simple somatic education mind /body programme.
