Creative Play Skills- Sandplay


An Experiential Two Day Workshop




Workshop includes:

-an introduction to the theory behind sandplay
-self exploration through the medium of sand
-an understanding of the symbolism used
-Jungian archetypes explored
-Expression through creative visualisation
-group discussion integration of learning appropriate to current practice


About the Programme

This workshop aims to provide participants with an awareness into the world of Sandplay as a therapeutic tool for working with both children and adults alike.

Entry Requirements:

This workshop is for helping professional who want to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to incorporate Creative Play Skills- Sandplay in their work environment. I.e. counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers, social care workers and teachers

Linda has worked with groups experiencing change in their lives through both loss of work and also change due to accidental illness. A large part of this work focused identifying the coping skills available to each participant and acceptance of their changing circumstance. Linda was previously involved with the development and coordination of two professional counselling services in the Leinster area, one in the field of separation and the other with 11 to 25 year olds and their families. Linda is the Programme Leader for the BSc courses in Counselling here at PCI College.About this course
