Low-Cost Counselling Services


PCI College provides a Low-Cost counselling service to various local communities and the service is expanding.  Low Cost Counselling is a not-for-profit initiative of PCI College.


About Low Cost Counselling

The service works with people over 16 years of age and provides a safe and secure one-to-one counselling environment.  It is staffed by mature adults who are currently undergoing professional training in Counselling & Psychotherapy with PCI College and are supported in their work by experienced Supervisors.

Counselling Issues include:
Relationships; Life Change; Loss and Separation; Bereavement; Depression; Stress & Anxiety.

Each call to our Low-Cost Counselling service is dealt with promptly and the caller is matched with a suitable counsellor. To arrange an appointment or for more information please see contact information below:

Fee

A suitable Low-Cost fee is agreed (between €5 and €15) with the caller so that the service is available to all, regardless of circumstance.

We have male and female counsellors and a choice of day, evening, and weekend appointments.
 

Counselling Placements


Counsellors in training are available for placement in community organisations.

PCI College counsellors in training are mature adults who have undergone comprehensive training, having completed at least two years of professional BSc (Hons) degree programme.  They are engaged in regular supervision with a qualified and highly experienced mentor and are insured to practice.
