Dear students,

Following the announcement that was made this morning by the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD for schools, colleges and universities to close at 6pm today, the 12th of March until the 29th of March 2020.  I would like to let you know PCI College’s plans and contingency arrangements in relation to the evolving COVID-19 situation.

  • All classes are postponed from tomorrow the 13th of March re-opening on Monday the 30th of March 2020.
  • PCI College will remain open during this period, with a reduced team based in Corrig House and a number of staff working remotely from home
  • The Counselling Service will run as normal during this period.
  • Student Placements will run as normal on condition that their Supervisor and the Client Work Co-ordinator is available and with full agreement with their Placement.

Additional notifications will be sent out to individual groups regarding the re-scheduling of classes cancelled during this time period.

As you can appreciate, these are extraordinary times. Our hope is to continue as best we can and to provide as much normality and structure to you, our students in the weeks ahead.

During this time please follow the HSE advice below:

What our Students Say

"Blend of theory and experiential is very good, Role plays facilitated much learning, very supportive learning space; I was pleased to see exploration of broad scope of Lifespan Developmental theory with emphasis too on modern neuroscientific research. Facilitation of the group emotional process around these theoretical concepts was also very thorough"
